My Project

Third graders are the best! I teach third-grade students who come from a variety of backgrounds and have a vast amount of interests. But one interest they all have in common is they love to read a great book during small reading group instruction. I love when a student finishes reading a chapter and says, "One more chapter, please!"

One of the best ways for students to learn is by engaging in a book that interests them and keeps them wanting to read more.

With this donation, my students will be able to read a variety of engaging books that are on their reading level. These books will give them the greatest learning impact during small reading group instruction. Together we can build the love of reading through great books!

Mrs. Mathis will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 9.
