Literature, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Cultural Awareness... These are all very important components in an Elementary school setting. As a music teacher, I am fortunate to not only teach music, but I am able to tie in all of these subjects to give our students a more well- rounded education.
At Our school, students are excited about Music and learning.
School music classes are often the only exposure to music students receive, as private music lessons are often not accessible to everyone. In our music class, we learn through, reading, writing, dancing, moving, playing instruments, singing, and using technology.
My Project
Books give people the ability to see the world and learn about other cultures through reading. In our music class, we focus on developing the young musician and providing a well- rounded education.
Students will be able to improve their music knowledge by reading books that pertain to music, are on their level, and are interesting.
Books in our music library will cover Sounds, Math, Science, Movement, Music History, Music Theory, Movement, Culture, and Instruments of the orchestra. Students will be able to use this library for research, supplementing lessons, and during workstations. Being able to choose books for music learning will keep our students interested.
