I am a Special Education Teacher in a Middle school. I teach the 8th grade and I have some really GREAT kids!! My kids would love to learn how to use a musical instrument.
Our Music program was cut out of our school and we no longer have one. So now I am not only the art, reading, writing, math and science teacher I am now in charge of music! Our school has no money for supplies so I went buying school supplies for my kids. Please help me with this!! Don't you remember learning how to play the recorder when you were young? I would love to teach them this as well!! Thank you again for making an impact in our lives.
My students don't have much. They face a life of violence and crime. The areas they come from and the lack of role models are upsetting.
Please shine some light on their life, and bring music into their hearts!!! This is so needed because we have no music program in our school and this would mean so much to them!! Thank you so much.
