Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are in 2nd Grade and are curious and playful. They are always ready to try new things and love hands on materials in the classroom. This year I want for them to try new ways of creating art by doing Mother's Day projects. By doing Mother's Day projects they further learn other lessons like appreciation and empathy for others. This project will cover other subjects like writing and science by planting seeds to give a plant as a gift. I am sure that this projects will enhance their creativity and self esteem by being proud of their work.
