My Project

My students are reluctant readers and I am wanting to engage them in something that grabs their attention. I hope the graphic novels will "hook" them into reading more. I have many students that ask for comics and our selection is very slim. The students are disappointed when our books have been checkout and there isn't a similar genre available. Many of the students will then walk away without checking anything out. Not only are they disappointed but I feel as if I've let them down. I hope these graphic novels will encourage them to discover a love of reading.
