Help me give my students new biography books! We recently read an I am Helen Keller and they all loved it. We looked up and found other biography book in that series and they were all so excited!
I have amazing students who love to learn, think, explore, and read.
I work at a Title I rural school.
I teach 2nd grade self contained and have 16 sweet kids to take care of? Our students are wonderful, curious kids. Lots of them spend their evenings and weekends helping their parents take care of cattle, other livestock, and drive tractors. They get to experience the "country life" that most kids only hear about.
My students love to come to school to learn new and exciting things. They love to read and explore new activities. Like most kids their age, technology is also one of their favorite pastimes! I work every day to inspire them to work toward their dreams and be all they can be!
My Project
My students love to read all kinds of books. When we read a book they always want to know if there are more in the series. We read a biography and they were so excited to find out there were more books in the biography series they could read!
Reading is the key to all learning.
You can go on so many adventures and learn so much information by reading! Children are like sponges and soak up so much information when reading. It makes me excited to see them want to read biography and nonfiction to learn information about other people!
