Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First graders love to learn! But learning to read and write can be hard! We spend a lot of time in whole group and small group instruction. There is only one 45 minute block of time each day that students can independently practice their reading and writing skills. Therefore, the activities need to be fun and engaging!

Over 50% of my class are English Language Learners!

For many of them, school is their first experience with the English Language. These learning center activities, puzzles, and kits will provide all of my students with the practice they need to become confident readers and writers!
