This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a class of 22 kindergarteners and 2 special needs students that come in for inclusion.

They are bright and excited to learn. I hope that continues through out their education. I try to instill a love for learning in my class and make it be a happy place to be.

My students love hands on activities and enjoy learning from each other.

My Project

My students are excited about learning and ready to read. There are some really great free apps that will help my students learn to read. They love technology and will stay focused and engaged while learning on an iPad.

My students need to learn to read the letters and how to write them.

The Alpha-Bots will help them learn the letters of the alphabet and how to form the letters. They will learn the letters using straight lines and curved lines like a puzzle.

Everyone's families look different and they can learn about that even more with the magnetic Mix and Match family puzzle set.

My students will enjoy learning with these materials.
