I am the proud teacher of the sweetest 5 and 6 year old Kindergarten students. I feel extremely blessed to be able to work with them daily! They come to school ready and eager to learn every day. My students also come from homes that do not have the resources that they need and deserve.
As their teacher, I feel it is my place to make sure that my students have all the materials they need to help them become successful Kindergartners.
My Project
I would like to add these STEM Kits to our classroom. The Building Brick sets and the House Building Engineering Center. My students enjoy doing anything hands-on which allows them to construct objects on their own. These STEM centers will reinforce following directions, encourage creativity, and allow them to explore the concepts of engineering at the young age of five. These materials will enable my students to experience many interactive possibilities of building and engineering, as well as have more concrete experiences in solving STEM engineering challenges.
Your donation will extremely benefit my impoverished students and allow them to have the exposure to STEM that they would not normally receive.
It is my goal to help them become confident learners, and I will do my best to help make this year a positive experience for each and every one of my students.
