My Project
I have a diverse student population representing a variety of cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as various educational backgrounds and ability levels. Due to their diverse nature, my students, like all people, have a multitude of adversities to face in life. My goal is to teach them skills that will build mental toughness to overcome the struggles they will face. These resources will be used in my AP psychology, intro psychology, and sports/performance psychology.
I would love to have the ability to create learning experiences to support the mental health and strength of my diverse students.
I am driven to support their social, emotional, and mental development through skill building, anxiety reduction, and confidence building.
I am requesting supplies to support learning opportunities to build mental toughness and reduce anxiety when it comes to performance. We all have performances throughout our life, whether they are on the court, on the field, on the stage, or in the workplace. These resources will build mental confidence and strength for students to thrive in social situations where they need to make their presence known.
