Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The moment my students walk through my classroom door, they are ready to get to work. I say, "Are you ready to rock?" and they respond with, "Ready to roll!" I expect nothing but the best from them, and I strive to be the best teacher and provide the best classroom environment I can.

My school serves Latino, Polynesian, and African-American students who live in deep poverty.

These are amazing students, full of life and character, who deserve nothing but the best. Most live in unfortunate situations at home; therefore, the classroom must be anything but unfortunate. I strive to make sure my students have all that they need to be successful in their academics.

My Project

The fifth graders at my school want to promote school culture, seeing as they are the big guys on campus at our k-5 site, and would like to take the lead in developing a school environment they are proud to call their own.

The students will be able to use the tripod stands to hold the iPad and digital camera steady and use the microphones to record clear sound as the student leadership team records and uploads weekly announcements that include celebrating birthdays, current school events, motivational videos, and other goings on at our school.

Partner with me to be able to provide the needed technological materials to help the 5th grade student leadership team to create multi-media presentations to help build school culture that fosters a safe and welcoming environment. Thank you in advance.
