My Students
I am a Special Educator at RBCPHS, the school of the Mighty Monarchs!!! Life has not always been easy for my students especially while trying to navigate school work, family life, personal affairs, and for some of them work-life during an ongoing pandemic. My students are amazing because whatever life's challenges, they continue to work hard, play hard, and make sure they do all that they can do to become successful in school and outside of school.
As an Educator, I understand that with all that my students have to endure in their day-to-day lives, they deserve the best!
I would like them to see that even though life has its challenges, that they are special, and they can and will make it through.
My Project
When my students returned back to the physical school building they were excited, but were met with the challenges of trying to adapt to life on campus. Although the transition was difficult, the students are putting their best foot forward to make sure that they do their best to be successful. So, as a member of the schools Student Celebration Committee, we work endlessly to come up with ideas and rewards to celebrate those who are doing their best academically.
With the help of our donors, our committee will be able to provide rewards such as the Amazon Gift Cards, to present to our Young Kings for all of their hard work and dedication at school.
This will be a motivator for them to continue to do their best! Many of our students have their trials and tribulations that they are challenged with on a daily bases. So, to have someone to acknowledge them and let them know that no matter what, someone sees them, someone cares for them, and most of all, someone appreciates the hard work that they put in during the school day, would mean the world to them.
