Student-led project

The Market Needs a Refrigerator!

We need a refrigerator because students should have healthy alternatives in our school store. The refrigerator is a necessity to store fruits, salads, and healthy snacks.

About My Students

At our school, we have dedicated students who have devoted their time to student government, in efforts to enhance the school and the students’ progress. The student body President, Saiyemul and Vice President, Seema accompanied by the student representatives have built upon a strong foundation and strive towards making something good, better.

These blooming leaders have been with the school since it first opened in 2014. With it’s commencement, they’ve first hand witnessed every change in our schools system and today with their student body role, are able to assist with student concerns and needs. Their grit, drive, and determination to become leaders and inspirations for the younger grades are evident. They possess an aura that differentiates them from the rest and courageously advocate for what is right and address the concerns of today’s society. By learning from each other, we strengthen our community in our school and as a united front, this makes for the molding of leaders for a brighter tomorrow.

If this project receives funding then this will teach students how to successfully take stock and inventory. They will learn how to manage different products that will help them in their future fields. Teamwork is an essential skill that students will also learn how to do when working the store.

In Their Own Words

Our goal is to use the refrigerator to successfully keep the store up and running. We essentially want the students to have healthy food choices and the refrigerator is essential to store the food. By having the refrigerator, we at our school can accomplish this goal which will result in more student satisfaction and healthy food choices.

The school store will have students who essentially keep the store running smoothly. As mentioned before students will learn how to work as a team and learn how to manage inventory. The main manager will lead their fellow students into how to deal with real world situations that might occur.

This project is so important to the students here at our school because they not only want to have healthy snacks and refreshments to enjoy but they want the ability to have funding availability for their student activities. Solving the funding challenge in our school is easier said than done but we prefer more action than talking. So this is why the fridge project is so important for us here at school.
