This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have to face economic disadvantage as well as emotional challenges.

My students are the leaders of tomorrow.

My students have many challenging things in their lives. For many of these students they will be the first ones to graduate and go on to college. For my students school is the only place that is safe. I want to be the one to make a big impact in the student’s life. This is a title I school with low income families. I want to show them that school is fun.

My Project

My students will be able to have a better understanding of the basic math concepts and how they relate to "real world" situations. My students will be able to work in centers and learn from each other. The material that will be provided will help in their learning process.

This project is important because it will make a big difference in the learning process of my students.

They will have the opportunity to practice and gain knowledge from their experience. My students are the leaders of tomorrow.
