This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in grade three, four, and five. We love incorporating grade level content that is not only education but fun as well. This year for our reading unit we are reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets!

My students have fallen in love with the series and all the characters!

This project will give my class fun manipulatives to play with that go along with what we are reading. This will further spread the magic into our classroom and encourage an early love for reading fiction!
