Our School is an institution offering varied, purposeful, and meaningful classroom activities for students to learn. Learning while having fun could open great opportunities for students to develop eagerness to gain new skills and knowledge. The school will hold summer classes and the activities prepared are project-based learning/hands-on units of study. Daily activities are centered about creating engaging classroom activities where students learn while discovering. These materials requested could pave a way to the attainment of our goal which is our dear students, the learners. It is taken into consideration that these materials will be used for the incoming school year and the years ahead.
The magnetic fraction tiles is used so that our fraction lesson will be more engaging.
As per observation, this skill needs to be mastered. Having manipulative and hands-on activities could make my students learn the concept better. They can visualise what a fraction is. Having this materials ready could also be used in my learning stations ready for my students to have fun while learning.
For the headphones, many of my kids don’t have their headphones. During independent practice where they can listen to audio, like the word problem as well as the story during reading, some students cannot focus because they are distracted by the sounds of their classmates’ Chromebook. Even if I let them lower down the volume and if there are many of them have to play the audio, it is still audible and creates unnecessary noise during activities especially if they will play the audio all at once. Have these headphone makes my classroom more conducive to learning.
This summer, the theme for fourth graders is about the magic of Houdini and I have to prepare these materials ahead of time for a smooth flow of instruction.
