it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Spanish-speaking kindergarten and first grade students are incredibly enthusiastic about learning English. And children love a good book in any language! A great story is magical in so many ways, and one of them is in teaching language.
These excellent books such as the very hungry caterpillar will nurture a love of reading in my students as well as introduce them to English grammar, sentence structure, rhyme and vocabulary.
Nothing pulls young learners into learning like classic children’s literature. My students will be delighted to engage in lessons and activities around the Very Hunger Caterpillar, Brown Bear and others great books.
