Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project has student-selected and inspired materials that they feel are missing from our classroom environment and/or that I believe will enhance learning. These materials include books, storage for counting collections, learning games, and resources for continued support.
The texts are student-selected and will extend our series collections so that students can continue their journey with characters they adore.
I deeply want to continue to foster their love of learning through continuous access to books they connect to. I hope for there always to be something on my shelf a student finds interesting and one they haven't read yet. It would be amazing to line the shelves of our learning community with these supports.
