My Project

As a first-year biology teacher, I want to create a science classroom that feels alive! We want a classroom that encourages curiosity, supports collaboration, and reflects the diverse interests and learning styles of my students. To do this, I need hands-on materials, visual aids, and safety equipment that will turn my classroom into a true biology lab.

The items I’m requesting will help students will help them work together on engaging labs and biology investigations They can visualize complex topics like cells, genetics, and ecosystems.

I want my students to feel safe while participating in lab activities and connect emotionally and socially through classroom norms that foster empathy, teamwork, and self-reflection

To promote a science-themed atmosphere, I’d love to incorporate aquatic animals, science posters, and interactive displays that reflect the real world. I also hope to create a mindfulness corner with calming visuals and affirmations that students can access during times of stress or sensory overload.

This project will transform an ordinary room into a safe, stimulating, and emotionally supportive science learning environment that sparks passion for biology and encourages every student to believe in their ability to do science!
