My first graders are excited to walk through our classroom doors! Despite the wide variety of backgrounds my students come from, each one has the desire to learn to read. These young minds are eager to see what each day holds in our classroom to help them in their academic journey.
When a student learns to read, their mind is filled with endless possibilities.
Many of my students are first generation of English learners. Learning how to read and write is opening up many opportunities for my students and their families.
They want to be at school and their sweet faces show it. Their smiles and hunger for knowledge warm my heart as I strive to provide them with variety of opportunities.
My Project
Everything in a classroom adds up! From crayons and pencils to desks and electronics, all the items are necessary to provide an age appropriate learning environment.
Providing materials in an organized state helps are students maintain a routine in the classroom.
A charging station gives the students a place to keep iPads organized right next to the headphones!
We use crayons everyday! It's the best feeling to use a new sharpened crayon, but it doesn't last long. A crayon sharpener will give students an opportunity to continue to use to their crayons long after the crayon has lost its nice point.
