This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the hustle and bustle of a busy classroom, it’s often the little things that create a big impact. As a teacher, I’ve learned that organization and an inviting atmosphere set the stage for deeper learning, creativity, and success. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today to help me bring those "little things" to life in my classroom.

I’m requesting a few supplies that might seem small but are vital for creating a space where students can thrive.

A stacking paper organizer provides a clear and organized spot for students to turn in completed assignments. This simple addition will help reduce confusion and ensure no work gets lost in the shuffle.

Snap frames to proudly display the books we’re currently reading as a class. This will not only spark curiosity and excitement about literature but also encourage a culture of shared reading.

Student whiteboard erasers so that every child has the tools they need to engage fully in learning activities. These erasers will make our daily practice with vocabulary words, KWL charts, Venn diagrams, and brainstorming more effective and less stressful.

Painter’s tape to hang student work on the walls without damaging them, showcasing their achievements and building confidence.

A desk lamp to create a warm, welcoming workspace that feels less institutional and more inspiring.

These small tools of organization and display will help transform our classroom into a space that supports learning, encourages creativity, and fosters pride in student accomplishments. With your generosity, we can show students that their work matters, that their efforts are celebrated, and that their learning environment is one where they can shine.
