My Project
As the librarian, I believe a library is more than just books—it’s a community space where students can explore new hobbies and interests. By offering a "library of things", I can provide a stargazing kit, photography kit, crochet kit, and board game kit. These will allow students to explore a new hobby and will provide hands-on opportunities for creativity, critical thinking, connection, and collaboration.
The stargazing kit will allow them to engage with science and astronomy hands-on, deepening their understanding of the universe.
The photography kit will help students develop artistic skills, teaching them to see the world through different lenses. The crochet kit will introduce a relaxing and rewarding pastime. Lastly, the board game night kit will foster teamwork, strategic thinking, and social interaction.
My goal is to create a space where students can learn and grow beyond textbooks, discovering new passions and building skills they can carry into the future.
