Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have officially used all of our school/classroom supplies this school year, which means we need more classroom supplies to continue learning after state testing. Students are taking state assessments, but teachers are still needing to obtain grades and give assignments to prepare students for the next grade level.

These supplies will be used to make sure students continue to have what they need.

Teaching and learning does not stop just because state testing is done. Students still have standards and skills to build on, and the way I teach, I want students to be ahead before the summer starts and before the next school year starts. Anchor chart paper, pencils, composition books, laminating sheets, and other things requested can definitely help with this.

My students are very amazing and I believe that if they were donated these materials, they wouldn't need to provide a whole new list of supplies that they probably can't afford to bring in at this time. Please provide us with these supplies that we requested. We will be grateful.
