My Project
My students are very special to me. They are motivated and eager to learn. They motivate me to be the very best educator that I can be. My students have worked hard all year long, and our year is coming quickly to a close. However, I do not want my students to lose all the knowledge they have gained this year learning; how to read, write, count, add, subtract, and much more. My heart rejoices at the end of the day when I hear my students say Dr. Hale can I take this book home tonight and practice reading it to my mom. The smile that statement puts on my face is priceless. It lets me know my students want to learn if given the opportunity. Many of my students do not have school supplies at home. Therefore the take-home backpacks will be a blessing to the students. They are already full of manipulatives and supplies for my student's 1st-grade success. The students can continue to work on letter recognition/sounds, number identification, practicing their name, and much more.
