Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our physical education swim program just started over two years ago. We have been working very hard the last couple of years to get classroom sets of swim equipment, so students do not have to share equipment when working on skills in the class. Every student works at their own pace and being able to have a piece of equipment to use during the class without trading off would be extremely helpful in progressing through the lessons.

We are very close to our goal of having complete classroom sets of equipment.

We have come a long way since the pool has opened and cannot wait to see it all come together with this project.

This project will help us achieve this goal by getting the last bit of kickboards, pull buoys, and lifeguard sashes needed for all the swim classes. These will help alleviate the need to have students trade-off when learning skills.

Ms. Mandeville will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 1.
