My Project

I have the privilege of teaching music to kids ages 3-14 in an inner city school. Our students are brilliant in many ways. I am requesting books which will give every kid something new to read. This collection of books will surprise and delight each age group. Often times the kids love music, but reading, not so much.

These books will give our students a positive experience with literacy, because the books are about a subject they love.

Piano-K will engage our littlest learners in tracking notes and letters, and then applying them to the keyboard. The older students will be delighted and challenged with new duet books, so they can keep exploring the language of music with friends, and an instrument in hand. Thank you for supporting students of all ages and abilities with new books about music!
