My Students

My kindergarten students are intrinsically inquisitive and joyfully embrace hands-on experiences. The students enjoy all aspects of nature and learning through our living environment. I like to create as many possibilities as I can for real life learning.

We are a largely diverse group, who celebrate inclusion daily through "playing to learn" encounters.

In return, I believe, that I am allowed many opportunities to engage in one-on-one moments with my students. I am often amazed by their creativity and imagination that is often brought out by simple experiments and experiences.

Hands-on activities that are supplied for kindergartners provide the students the right set of circumstances to encourage positive interactions with peers while adding an element of fun!

In this busy life, it is rewarding to be able to offer such environments to support this type of learning.

My Project

This project will allow our students to have an outdoor classroom where we can take learning to a whole new level! We will be able to give them life skills, and make sweet memories along the way! We cannot wait to begin growing our own veggies and beautiful flowers.

With the items listed on out wish list, we intend to provide opportunities to learn how use tools to create a nurturing environment for our plants to grow!

Wind chimes and art easels will expand exploration even further, as those will add color and creativity to the space. We even have plans to incorporate a Koi pond inside the garden!

Utilizing this garden and outdoor learning space will allow us to give our students hands on learning opportunities through a living curriculum. We can tie in science, social studies, literacy, and math through hands-on experiences all while exploring in the garden. Thank You!
