My Project

My ESOL students in kindergarten and first grade are curious and eager learners. Reading is essential to their learning in all subjects. They are always ready to explore something new and love hands-on materials in the classroom.

This year, we need more books for our classroom library, especially differentiated, leveled texts so that they can experience the joy of reading.

I’m requesting several different sets for the variety of reading levels and skills that I teach in my classroom. I have requested book sets that will help an emergent reader to a reader who is just about ready for first grade. I've requested book sets that teach vowel sounds, blends and digraphs.
