My Students

My students are always looking for ways to make their ideas come to fruition through their art. I teach 9th-12th-grade Imagineers, and it is absolutely amazing what this age level is able to do with an idea. They are visualizing and growing through the process of creating.

My students come from varied backgrounds, some with the capabilities to obtain the materials needed to produce the works they are envisioning, but many do not have this capability.

My desire is to equal the playing field for my students, giving them exciting and creative projects to inspire them in their art making.

I write this request so that my students will be able to create something meaningful for themselves and for others. Creating is an essential part of self-actualization and a way of fulfilling an innate need to produce something meaningful. It would be wonderful for all of the creative students who enter my classroom to be able to have ample materials on hand in exploring their process of self-discovery.

My Project

My students will enjoy painting with these amazing materials, such as the semi moist tempera cakes and the airbrush paints for our airbrush gun. The quality paint brushes will also enhance student control, which leads to greater confidence.

Learning to paint with these materials will give students a chance to broaden their range of media and techniques, which will build their capabilities as artists.

This is a chance for students to expand their horizons and become advanced painters, which is not typical for a regular art room setting.

As a painter, myself, I cannot wait to share my love for painting in all mediums with my students. They are going to grow and flourish with these paint mediums!
