This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a new educator, I want to prepare my students for a future in technology and provide motivation. Integrating iPads into our curriculum would revolutionize how our students engage with educational content. My goal for the iPad is twofold: to provide students with access to technology and as a tool for me to use during instruction. In the age of technology, I see myself internalizing lessons on the iPad instead of printing my lesson plans or answer keys. With an iPad, students could access the online platform for our new math curriculum. I also see it being used as part of our learning centers.

Regarding the Takis chips, it might be seen as a silly or minor addition, but something as small as a snack can impact our student's focus and overall well-being.

Hunger can be a distraction that can distract our students from the learning process. I can ensure we meet each student's basic needs by providing snacks.

Our goal for this project is to empower me and my students with the tools and resources we need to excel academically and provide motivation through stickers or snacks. By supporting our project, you will contribute to our students' growth.
