My Project
I love that my students are passionate, resilient, and determined to succeed. Many of them are the first in their families to pursue college or a career pathway, and they inspire me every day with their motivation and drive. They’re not just learning from textbooks—they’re preparing to enter the real world, and they take that responsibility seriously. What makes my students special is their desire to rise above challenges and become confident, capable professionals in a competitive workforce.
This project will help bring their future into focus by creating a space where career readiness feels real and achievable.
A conference table and executive-style chairs will transform our classroom into a professional setting, giving students the opportunity to practice mock interviews in a realistic environment. This experience helps build soft skills like communication, professionalism, and confidence. The storage cabinet will house resumes, portfolios, and interview prep kits—keeping everything organized and accessible so students can take ownership of their materials and preparation.
My goal for this project is to bridge the gap between the classroom and the workforce. By simulating the environments students will encounter after graduation, we can better equip them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. With your support, we’ll create a space where every student feels prepared to walk into an interview—and walk out with an opportunity.
