Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are an Inquiry-Based/Arts Integrated school, which means our lessons are student-centered. They lead us in the most amazing directions to get our standards achieved! They are excited about coming to school and continuing the learning we have been doing!
My students are interested, engaged, and curious.
They love to explore and discover new things. They are very into the real world around them and how they can better prepare to become a part of it. They love to find ways to help the community and learn. They want to be successful citizens!
My Project
My Students are learning how to become good decision makers. They are able to choose the spot that they work best in. They are free to move around the room and work where they need to get the job done. They are learning to problem solve and work together as a community.
My Students love the freedom of choice!
From the materials that they use to the seating that they use. They love the flexibility they have in my room. They are learning what types of environments work best for them and how to choose the best spot!
The exercise balls, yoga mats, and pillows will help replenish some of our seating choices that are in need of replenishing due to usage over the years I have had them.
