My Students

What type of classroom does nothing but promote problem solving, entrepreneurship, real-world skills, and once they leave, feel ignited to change the world? My students will have all of these skills after being in this classroom.

I teach in a diverse district where almost 70% of my students are on free or reduced lunch, and 30% are proficient in math.

The students are ambitious, hungry for knowledge, and ready to take on the challenge of a 21st century technology classroom. I want to show them how they can live, collaborate, and change their worlds. With proper materials and support, my students will walk out of the classroom with skills they never thought they had and be prepared to take on the challenges of the future!

My Project

These materials will help students become problem solvers and independent thinkers while learning 21st century technology for a very bright future.

Our goal is for our students to become innovators so they may lead a fulfilling life and when problems face them, they will have many solutions.

Along with advanced technology such as 3D printing, laser and vinyl cutting, my students need these tools in order to assemble projects and to maintain equipment.

This classroom is all about making, creating, and innovation. In order to create projects, for example, laser cutting a 3D model and putting it together, we need measuring instruments for size, tool sets and glue for assembly, and sanders for finishing a product.

This will be an amazing opportunity for students to learn necessary skills to give back to others and volunteer their time to help those in the world around them.
