My Project
Aloha, I am teaching Super Special Learners who are challenged both academically and emotionally due to their environmental experiences and varied learning disabilities. I really enjoy seeing my students light up when they earn preselected rewards for making math or fluency reading goals. By providing SEL (Social Emotional Learning) activities, I can teach my students how to calm their nerves and be open to learning new concepts and strategies. If I receive new fidget toys and prizes, they will have great items to choose from the treasure box that keep them excited about growing their math and reading skills for the school year!
