Year after year, I'm blessed and lucky enough to teach and spend my day with the sweetest kiddos alive! I teach in a high-poverty, low socioeconomic community in southern Mississippi. Our teachers are the best and the kiddos are just so awesome.
Each day, they step off the bus ready and so excited to learn.
In my classroom, I try to make learning as fun as possible, but we do not always have the supplies and materials that we need to succeed.
My Project
This project is all about spicing up our play center!
Play is the most important work of children.
And with all the focus on academics, we often forget how important play is for the well being of our children. Please help me bring even more play into my classroom!
For this project we are requesting a dramatic play center table. This awesome table features two sides: one nature scene and one city scene. The kiddos will get to explore both of these, all while building important social and emotional skills. We are also requesting a tic tac toe game and storage bins for the dramatic play toys.
