This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Sometimes you need a little quite spot of your own to read a book.

I teach an awesome class of twenty-eight fifth graders in a Southern California urban environment.

This class is made up of highly motivated students who love to learn and seek out new topics all the time. We have fun but we also know when it's time to get down to business.

My Project

We have lots of activities going on in our classroom but some days one or two students might need their own space to finish a test, book or project. This is where a single desk would come in handy. The student could sit a part from the rest of the class and finish up their work at their own pace without being disturbed by their table partner.

Your generous donation of a desk would impact not only this year's class but many of my students in the future.

We all need quite time and this desk would provide that very special spot. Thank you for your consideration.
