My Students
My students are a group of enthusiastic learners! In English class is filled with creativity and problem solving. In order to foster growth, our classroom needs technology to support the 21st Century learner in our fast paced world.
It's very important to get the right literature in the hands of my students.
Enjoying what you read is the key.
My students are an energetic group that likes fun and challenging problems. The students are a group of diverse 8th graders from a suburban school containing approximately 900 students.
My Project
My students will be learning about the challenge of comedy in one of our units of literature study. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a great way to hook them.
Overcoming challenges is easier when we can laugh at ourself or life.
This can be very hard to do for teenagers.
My students are going to learn how author's create humor and how they use it to reveal a universal truth. It is my goal to find them the right book to inspire them and want them to read more comedy and learn to look at life in a different way.
