My Project

The heart of a classroom is the one place where learning occurs, relationships are fostered and connections are built. This place can be defined as the focal point of every classroom. In our classroom we call this the meeting area. The meeting area is that one spot in the front of the room where we all gather to learn. One way to make this spot more inviting is to have a classroom rug. Not only will this rug provide students with a spot during whole group instruction, but this will provide students with another seating option during independent and small group work times. In our classroom, we believe making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them in the classroom.
