We have the most inspirational students! They come from more than 75 countries and a multitude of different situations but they all strive for future success.
So many of us have learned valuable lessons from participating in high school sports and my goal is to make sure my students have the same opportunity.
So many of my students must overcome hurdles just to get to school never mind juggle the schedules of three seasons of sports, homework, a job, and family responsibilities. But they never cease to amaze me with their goal driven energy.
My Project
It seems so simple...just a few footballs to use for the season. But not every sports program can make that happen. While many communities have gone to charging fees to participate in sport, most of my student-athletes would not be able to participate if that were the case. But right now we have a full roster of student-athletes who have worked hard in school and now want to work hard on the field too.
To make this happen for the boys AND girls on our team, we need footballs.
Our coaches devote so much time and energy to this team, we want to be able to give them at least the basics to give this team a fair chance at success.
