Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A new, larger, and clean rug is essential for my kindergarten classroom, directly addressing the need for both personal space and peer engagement. Young learners thrive when they have a defined area for themselves during group activities like story time or phonics lessons, which minimizes distractions and promotes focus. Simultaneously, a more spacious rug fosters a vibrant hub for collaborative learning, allowing children to comfortably interact, share ideas, and work together on projects. This single addition creates a healthier, more organized, and significantly more engaging learning environment, supporting both individual well-being and a strong sense of community among my students.
