This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By working together on gardening and learning about sportsmanship it will guide my students into their next chapter of kindergarten. I love that my students are natural learners and love to work together and help each other learn new skills.

When one of my students is struggling with playing appropriately or things are too much for them (overstimulated or struggling with sensory challenges) I have another student step up and help them to become successful in their efforts to grow.

Having a garden to work on together will make them feel successful. Having different sports equipment will also teach them to work together.

I have a full-inclusion classroom and the kindest students that care and help each other. Our goal is to start creating an outdoor playground where everyone is successful.
