My Project

These postage stamps and envelopes will allow my students to write letters to different states within the United States to learn more about their state's regions and what their state has to offer.

Through this project, students will become globally minded citizens as they will learn the similarities and differences between their state and other students' states around the country.

Through this project, students are having to use their research skills to research different schools within the 50 states to write a letter too. Students will enhance their social skills by writing a letter to other classes asking what different regions their state has and what their state has to offer (such as national parks, major cities, etc.) while also writing a letter themselves. Students will also have to use their organizational skills and keep track of how many letters they've sent and to which states they have sent a letter.
