This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love nature. They tell me, "Mrs. Altenbern, You know we couldn't live with out plants!"
It would be highly beneficial for students to have their very own copy of "The Giving Tree".
This unique story has quickly become a class favorite. It is an exceptional example of the significance of giving and teaches valuable lessons in empathy and selflessness. The plot revolves around a tree that symbolizes generosity and unconditional love, providing everything it can to make a boy happy without expecting anything in return.
The Giving Tree is carefully crafted so that students draw conclusions. What an outstanding book for students to take home to share, and valuable experience it would be growing their very own "giving trees!"
