it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hello everyone and thank you for your kind interest and donations.
My students are wonderful little learners in Pre-k aged 3-4 years old.
They have a very low income background and what I love most about my students is although they are tiny and young, they are resilient. They show up to school with big smiles on their face eager to greet me and start their day regardless of their circumstances. My students truly have my heart and I wish to make their days a lot brighter. My hope for them is that they have the same resources as other schools and lovely experiences at school.
I feel this project will be the gift that keeps on giving because it will be the start to projects that the children can make and take home to their families with so much pride that they helped create it with material that is beautiful and has longevity. We have lovely families at school and I wish to give them a gift from their child to know that they are appreciated for their hard work and perseverance. This will also aid in creating a welcoming community with our families.
We have low resources and options for crafts and material at school. With these donations we will give my students the opportunity to work with different material. Children will develop their fine motor skills when creating their handprint tote for their mom's/motherly figures in their life. They will develop socialization skills when working with their peers and teacher. They will also learn about empathy for others. Hopefully with this funded project it will give way into Father's Day projects and so on and so forth. Thank you so much for your time and energy.
