My Project

As part of our ongoing commitment to helping students develop essential life skills, we are seeking donations to purchase large, digital clocks for our school counseling room small, digital clock keychains for our Peer Mediators and several battery operated alarm clocks and batteries for students in order to support school attendance. These clocks will play a crucial role in teaching students time management skills, will help them smoothly transition between activities throughout the day and will help to ensure students make it to school on time!

Time management is a key skill that will benefit students not just in school, but in their future academic and professional lives.

Some students need the extra support of an alarm clock to help them get out of bed on time in the morning.

Accidentally sleeping in often results in missing the bus, and for students whose families do not have reliable transportation, that can mean missing an entire day of school. Providing programed alarm clocks and batteries to students who need that extra support, will help to improve their attendance. Additionally, by having visible, easily accessible clocks in our school counseling room and for our Peer Mediator team, students will be able to track time, stay focused, and transition from one activity to the next, when the time comes.
