My Students
This year, our classroom is full of imagination, enthusiasm, and curiosity. This group is eager to learn, become skilled readers and thoughtful mathematicians.
They are not only focused on their learning, but they are so kind to one another.
When a student is struggling to name their feeling or find a way to feel calmer and ready to learn, there is always another student ready to lend a hand, a fidget toy, or some other form of support. This group is very perceptive!
My Project
A document camera is an essential tool that will help me make the content more accessible to all my students but especially to my ESL students. With a document camera, I can model more foundational skills in writing and reading as well as be more thorough in my explicit instruction in writing and in math.
Recently, we were required to teach remotely due to a surge in COVID cases.
For better more effective synchronous learning, a document camera is a necessity! I would be able to model new math strategies or model finding text evidence more effectivity with a document camera during remote and in-person learning.
