My Project

I love that I can open my library space to students during their lunch and lunch recess. It provides them a space to visit and interact and play games. Currently, chess is a favorite! The skills and strategies being implemented and discussed are incredible. I love to watch and hear how many social connections are made playing a board game. From interpreting a players moves to encouraging a players strategy…it really does build students relationships. Adding board games and word puzzles to my space will give more students an opportunity to play and interact during their choice time.
