This Epson printer prints photo-quality Images of students' 3D artwork, media posters, and other artwork in full-color and large format (13x19"). This also allows for printing large format full-color posters of students' finished ART projects. Our art studio is for all our middle school students and will be used by all of our students in the 6th, 7th and 8th Grades.
Currently, our 6th graders are painting 3D cardboard robots, while the 7th grade is working on a "This, NOT..." poster on ways for recycling, reducing, and reusing waste, while the 8th grade is working on posters to spread Sustainability Awareness.
This color printer would immediately help students to print full-color images for posters and show students photographed standing with their 3D Robots in full color and displaying creative artwork for our S.T.E.A.M./Civics Art show in the second week of March. And that is just the immediate use of this large format color printer in our art studio.
A printer is a tool that our art students can use throughout the many projects that we produce in the school year. The FutureZine is a magazine that our 8th graders make as their end-of-year project. The FutureZine is distributed to all students and family members at graduation.
This is the first ask for our quest to build our small school in East NY, a full-scale Media Arts Program. My students are creative, intelligent, outspoken, and stylish, but often underestimated. They see our limitations in the art studio and even have questions about why we don't have - (fill in the blank).
