it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, I’m reminded that each student is unique. They come to school with different strengths, challenges, and learning styles. My goal is to create a classroom environment that supports all of them—one where they can focus, feel comfortable, and express their creativity.
Flexible seating will give my fidgety and energetic learners the chance to move, shift, or choose a spot that helps them concentrate better during lessons.
It’s a simple change that can make a big impact on focus and engagement.
Whiteboards are essential tools in my classroom. I use them during whole group instruction to model strategies and check for understanding, and during small groups to provide targeted support and immediate feedback.
Basic supplies like crayons and glue sticks will allow my students to show their creativity through projects and hands-on activities. Paper and laminating sheets will help me create durable, reusable materials to support instruction and visual learning throughout the year.
