This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school where 100 percent of my students receive a free lunch. Many of my students do not have the best home life, yet they come to school with a positive attitude hoping to learn and create a better future for themselves. I teach at a career center where students learn better kinesthetically so I’d like to be able to engage them with projects rather than worksheets. They are hard workers and deserve every opportunity at success.

Students will be designing trifolds educating the public about the pros and cons of renewable and non-renewable resources.

They will then have a science fair where they will present their trifolds to their peers. This will count as their final exam grade.
